A complimentary planning pass for educators allows free admission to the Center before your reserved school group visit.  Bring your Class Visit Activities Guide along with faculty identification, and spend the day planning and getting an idea of how to maximize your students' experience.

Reservations

Reservations are necessary for all group visits since the National Constitution Center exhibit experience begins with “Freedom Rising”, a timed show in the Kimmel Theater. Although the length of each group’s stay will vary, we recommend allowing 1 ½ hours to fully enjoy all the museum has to offer. We ask groups to arrive 15 minutes prior to their show time. To ensureyour preferred choices in dates and times, please plan well in advance and call the Group Sales Department to make a reservation.

Once your visit is booked, you will promptly receive a letter of agreement to sign, a confirmation letter and, closer to the visit date, “Your guided to a Great Visit” pre-visit packet which includes a Class Visit Activity Guide.

Bus Arrival and Departure

Independence Transportation Center

We encourage school groups to arrive by bus. Motorcoach and bus unloading and loading will take place at the Independence Transportation Center (ITC) located adjacent to the Center.  Buses should enter the ITC off Race Street, before 5th Street.  The bus parking lot is just a few blocks away, and the daily parking rate is $20 per bus. The bus driver will be asked to pay the parking lot attendant directly. Payment for bus parking will not be accepted by the National Constitution Center.
