Eyewitness: American Originals from the National Archives

From the Hindenburg explosion and Pope John Paul II’s first visit to the United States, to the Kennedy assassination and Apollo 8, landmark moments in history will forever remain in the hearts and minds of Americans.  This summer, from May 25, 2007 through September 3, 2007, the National Constitution Center will host an exhibition that presents first-hand accounts of such watershed events in American history, Eyewitness: American Originals from the National Archives.  This exhibition was created by the National Archives and Records Administration, Washington, DC, and the Foundation for the National Archives.
