Traveling History and Civics Program

The National Constitution Center's Traveling History and Civics Program makes history and civics come to life! All programs are designed to be fun and interactive while meeting curriculum standards. Wake up the citizens inside your students with performances and exciting challenges for all grade levels.

Program Times
Outreach programs are now available daily all year long.  Please call two weeks in advance for best booking dates.

Program Costs
Fees are for presentations on the same day at the same location.  Additional fees for mileage and lodging may apply for locations outside of Philadelphia.  We will do our best to meet your needs and book programs in conjunction with other local schools and community centers.  Our programs are also popular with adult groups and home school groups. 

• $250 for one 45-minute presentation
  (includes pre- and post-visit materials and hand-outs)
• $150 for each additional presentation of the same show
• $200 for each additional show on a different topic
• $200 for a one-hour classroom workshop

Additional Fees:

• Early morning fee: $75 for shows beginning before 9 a.m.
• Split day fee: $75 for one morning and one afternoon

Travel fees are associated with all formats outside of Philadelphia; rates vary by county.

STEP 4: Receive a confirmation packet, approximately 2 weeks after the Center receives your information. The packet includes detailed information about your show.
