Launched by the Clerk of the House and funded by Pew Charitable Trusts, "Kids in the House," teaches students, parents and educators about the U.S. House of Representatives and the legislative process. This site includes three interactive exhibits that teach kids (and adults) how a Member decides to vote, how a bill becomes a law, and how the federal budget is allocated. By taking on the role of a member of Congress in "Build a Bill," classrooms assume the role of Congress as students work online to create their own bills.
