JAMI BRINTON

Jami Palmer Brinton is a general assignment reporter for the ABC affiliate KCRG-TV9 News in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she has covered stories ranging from the recent presidential campaign to the unprecedented 2008 flooding of Eastern Iowa. Prior to joining KCRG, she was a reporter for ABC 4 News in Salt Lake City, where she began on-air work as a sophomore in college. For four years she also worked for Utah Governor Jon Huntsman with responsibilities over speechwriting, policy formulation, and press relations. Brinton recently completed her Master of Public Administration degree; her master's thesis cataloged the history of televised presidential debates and examined their influence on voter opinion. She served as the national spokesperson for the Make-a-Wish Foundation at age 13.
