Tom Frank

Tom Frank is a reporter in USA Today’s Washington bureau covering homeland security and aviation, with occasional overseas assignments. He has done four reporting stints in Iraq, including covering the invasion as an embedded reporter with the US Army, and covered the Israel-Lebanon fighting in July 2006 from Israel. Frank also teaches a journalism course at the University of Maryland on news reporting and writing. He has worked for Newsday, the Denver Post, Providence Journal and the Express in Easton, Pa.
