Nancy Kearney

Nancy Kearney is an assistant metro editor for the Asbury Park Press in Neptune, N.J., where she directs a team of reporters in the coastal bureau. She and her team received top honors in 2006 for the eminent domain series from the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists, and she also led a team of reporters whose coverage of the announcement to close Fort Monmouth was cited by the organization as among the best breaking news coverage of 2005. She is a former reporter and copy editor.
