EVAN PEREZ
Evan Perez covers the Justice Department in the Washington bureau of The Wall Street Journal. He joined the Journal in 1998 at its regional edition in Florida, covering real estate. In 2001, he joined the main newspaper staff splitting his time between Miami and Atlanta, and initially covering homebuilders. Later he took over coverage of Delta Air Lines and cruise lines. Perez began his journalism career as an AP stringer. He joined the AP’s Miami staff in 1995, writing news and features on everything from Cuban exile politics and Sateria to the Gianni Versace murder.
