Bill Rankin

Bill Rankin has been the legal affairs reporter for the last 12 years, for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, covering the Georgia Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court and the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. In late 1980, he founded a Washington, D.C., newsletter on the alternative fuels industry, serving as editor and publisher, and later sold it to a competitor. After taking a year off to travel, he joined The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in 1989.
