JODI RAVE

Jodi Rave covers the Native news beat for Lee Enterprises and the Missoula Missoulian as a columnist and national correspondent. She has been with Lee for eight years and began working at the Missoulian after completing a 2004 fellowship at Harvard University. She previously worked at the Lincoln Star in Nebraska, and is a former business reporter at the Idaho Statesman and the Salt Lake Tribune. Rave has won honors from the Society of Professional Journalists Inland, Nebraska Press Association, the University of Nebraska School of Journalism, Montana Newspaper Association, and the Native American Journalists Assocation. Twice she has been honored by Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism for her reporting on race and ethnicity. In 2004, she was selected as a Poynter Ethics Fellow.
