ROBERT RIVARD

Robert Rivard has served as editor of the San Antonio Express-News since 1997. He is a former foreign correspondent and senior editor at Newsweek magazine, and the author of Trail of Feathers, the story of the 1998 disappearance and murder of Philip True, his newspaper's Mexico City bureau chief, and Rivard's pursuit of justice in the killing. He was a 2002 winner of Columbia University's Maria Moors Cabot Award for his work in Latin America.
