Rudabeh Shahbazi
Rudabeh Shahbazi is a general assignment reporter covering the state of Oregon for KEPR-TV, the CBS affiliate in Pasco, Washington. She stepped in front of the camera after working on the assignment desk at KTVU-TV in the San Francisco Bay Area. Shahbazi was the assistant to the director and producer of the award-winning film “King Leopold's Ghost,” a documentary about violent exploitation in the Congo. She has covered Iraqi refugees on the Jordan-Iraq border for Frontline World and translated breaking news from Iran as an assistant editor for the website IranDokht. She has also been a print reporter for the Malibu Surfside News and shot video of Hmong refugees in Thailand and Laos.
