ARI SHAPIRO
Ari Shapiro covers the Justice Department for NPR. His reporting can be heard on Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and NPR’s other newsmagazines. Shapiro returned to Washington in 2005, after reporting for NPR from Miami, Atlanta, and Boston. In 2005, he was awarded the Daniel Schorr Journalism Prize. Shapiro began his NPR career in 2001 in the office of NPR legal affairs correspondent Nina Totenberg and has also worked as an assistant editor on Morning Edition.
