DAVID SMALLEY

David Smalley is a columnist, editorial writer, and Op-Ed/Viewpoints editor for The Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Before assuming that position, he worked for four years as youth editor, where his sections won several awards. He is also a musician who has served hard time in a series of punk rock bands, and is featured in the newly released film American Hardcore. He has been named to punk rock’s Hardcore Hall of Fame.
