2007 CASE ANALYSIS WORKSHOPS

As part of the Peter Jennings Project, Jennings Fellows were divided into small groups and led by a distinguished faculty to analyze a legal case or controversy, and eventually come to a decision which they reported to the group as a whole.  The faculty moderated a discussion about the case, teasing out the issues and helping the participants understand the reasoning that goes into each court decision.  It is through this interaction that the Fellows gained a personal experience with the material at hand.

Then, the next day, the faculty again met with their group. After re-assessing the case, the Fellows voted as if they were a panel of judges and made a presentation to the larger group, explaining the case and announcing their decision.
