JOURNALISTS
The Peter Jennings Project for Journalists and the Constitution aims to help both professional journalists and students interested in journalism understand constitutional issues more deeply. This is accomplished through an annual conference and continued programs throughout the year. Over the Project's first three years, 90 professional journalists and 51 student journalists have participated as Jennings Fellows. Participants, who represent most of the major national newspapers, a variety of smaller circulation newspapers and magazines, as well as broadcasting and online ventures, are selected through an application process. In addition to participating in the inaugural conference, Jennings Fellows are asked to follow up on what they have learned with specific work published, aired or posted on-line in the calendar year to follow.
