A Revolution in Government: Philadelphia, American Independence and the Constitution, 1765-1791

Session One: July 12-16, 2010
Session Two: July 19-23, 2010

Experience American history in the heart of Philadelphia!

This workshop explores the American Revolution and the creation of the U.S. Constitution through the use of the Center’s innovative museum exhibits, lectures by leading scholars, discussion, and visits to numerous historic landmarks.

For teachers of grades K-12.

Each workshop includes a stipend of $1200 to cover hotel, travel and other costs.

What You'll Need To Apply:

  • Read the Dear Colleague Letter
  • To begin your application, complete the coversheet here: Complete the NEH Online Coversheet
  • three copies of the completed application cover sheet
  • three copies of a detailed resume
  • three copies of an application essay
  • one letter of recommendation from an administrator or department head
  • Submit the above materials to:
