 Inspired by true events, Court TV's original film Chasing Freedom depicts the realities of life under the Taliban in Afghanistan and one young woman's grueling attempt to seek political asylum in the United States. On June 1, the National Constitution Center joined Court TV and Comcast in staging a mock asylum hearing with Philadelphia high school students. A town meeting focusing on issues raised by the film and mock hearing followed.
