    For 217 years, the U.S. Constitution has kept our nation alive and strong, in good times and bad, in prosperity and through depression, in war and in peace. 

    Marking its second Constitution Day since opening the doors in 2003, the National Constitution Center begins this annual tradition of reading our founding document from start to finish, from “We the People” through the 27th amendment.
