See the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the National Constitution Center in One Day

The Liberty Bell and Independence Hall are open year-round, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (check the park service website for more details).  The National Constitution Center, located two blocks north on Independence Mall, is open from 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday, and 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

Visit the National Constitution Center either before or after your visit to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.  Your Constitution Center experience begins with a powerful, award-winning multimedia performance, “Freedom Rising”, and continues with over 100 fascinating exhibits and historic artifacts —its interactive, thought-provoking, and unexpected.  “Freedom Rising” runs every half hour, and a typical visit to the Center lasts about 1-2 hours. Reserve your tickets to the Constitution Center today.

Insider Tip:  Don’t stand in line at your favorite historic attractions in Philadelphia

Independence Hall Tickets: The Liberty Bell requires no tickets, but for entry into Independence Hall you must have a FREE, timed ticket, which can be obtained on the morning of your visit at the Independence Visitor Center at 6th and Market Street, Philadelphia. You have the greatest choice of entry times if you arrive between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

The best times to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall are in the early morning (9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.) and late afternoon (3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.).  Once you have secured your tickets to Independence Hall at the Visitor Center, access the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall through security located on 6th Street between Market and Chestnut Streets.

The perfect compliment to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell is the National Constitution Center, and it is only two blocks away.  Experience history from the revolution to today; experience the continuing story of we the people.  Reserve your Constitution Center tickets today.
