Geoffrey Stone, University of Chicago

Former Dean and Provost of the University of Chicago prior to his current role as Edward H. Levi Distinguished Service Professor, Geoffrey Stone is the author of many books on constitutional law, including The Free Speech Century; Speaking Out: Reflections of Law, Liberty and Justice; Perilous Times: Free Speech in Wartime; and Eternally Vigilant: Free Speech in the Modern Era. He is an editor of two leading casebooks, Constitutional Law and The First Amendment, as well as of the Supreme Court Review, and chief editor of Inalienable Rights, a series of books on constitutional law.

Eugene Volokh, UCLA

Eugene Volokh teaches First Amendment law at UCLA and is the author of the textbook The First Amendment and Related Statutes. He is a member of The American Law Institute, and the founder and coauthor of The Volokh Conspiracy, a leading legal blog. His law review articles have been cited by opinions in eight Supreme Court cases and several hundred court opinions in total, as well as several thousand scholarly articles.

Thomas Donnelly, Chief content Officer

Prior to joining the Center in 2016, Thomas Donnelly served as counsel at the Constitutional Accountability Center, as a Climenko Fellow and Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School, and as a law clerk for the Hon. Thomas Ambro on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. His academic writings have appeared in The Yale Law Journal, the Wisconsin Law Review, and Constitutional Commentary, among other law journals, and he has written popular pieces for various outlets. Mr. Donnelly is a graduate of Yale Law School, where he was a projects editor for The Yale Law Journal and a Coker Fellow, and received his master’s degree in politics from Princeton, where he received the Alpheus Thomas Mason Prize Fellowship.

Patricia Everett, Pine Crest School, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Patricia Everett has been a social studies teacher for 16 years, seven of them at Pine Crest. She serves on the advisory boards of the National Constitution Center and the Center for Civic Education, and has been a mentor teacher for the James Madison Legacy Project.

Brittni Jennings, Constitution High School, Philadelphia, PA

A member of the National Constitution Center’s Teacher Advisory Board, Brittni Jennings is an African American History teacher and race and equity teacher lead. She earned her Master of Arts in education from Temple University and is qualified to teach both middle and high school English, social studies, and AP U.S. History. In 2019, she was awarded the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching, and was the recipient of the Changing Lives Award by the Change Our Future Foundation in 2022.

Sarah Harris, Director of Education

Sarah Harris, who joined the National Constitution Center in 2018, engages with teachers nationwide in a variety of professional learning sessions on pedagogical and constitutional topics. She previously taught freshman history at a high school in New Jersey, where she promoted the use of dialogue in the classroom. Sarah graduated from The College of New Jersey with a degree in history and secondary education.

Kevin Lynch, Education Manager, Student and Teacher Programs

Beginning his career with the National Constitution Center as a Visitor Experience Representative in 2012, Kevin Lynch now engages with every aspect of the Center’s educational and professional development programming. Kevin has a Master of Arts in history with a concentration in public history from La Salle University, and a Bachelor of Arts in history from Washington College.
